The first National league event took place in Kilmarnock starting the outdoor track and field season for our U/17 and Senior/U/20 athletes. Thank you to our officials – John Coyle, David Wallace and Sheena MacDonald making the trip to Kilmarnock to volunteer.
By all accounts strong winds against the athletes slowed down our sprinters with winds over 4m/s in some cases recorded during the event.

Screel Hill Race
A large group of hill runners made it down to the Solway coast for the first Scottish Hill Runners championship event of 2025. Joe Symonds (1st MV40) and John Connaghan (1st M55) came away with the hill runners prizes. Harry Pulham was our highest male in 7th and Elena Heger highest female in 4th. If coach, Malcy P, has his maths correct we were 2nd male and 2nd female team in this first of 6 race series.

An impressive 23 shetts ran in total
