With the lighter evenings we saw the start of the years midweek action this week on the hills and the track.

Kaim Hill Race

The bog n burn series kicked off in with Kaim Hill Race down the coast in Ayrshire. Last years sunny weather was replaced with more typical Scottish conditions of rain but that didn’t stop the hill runners. Great running from Ryad Chebbout coming in 1st male and Elena Heger 1st female.

Linwood Open Graded Track meet

Tuesday night saw a trip to the newly refurbished Linwood track for a number of Shettleston athletes. 12 athletes made the trip and 10 came away with PB performances !

Not bad when you considered it was cold and windy yet again .All sprint performances were legal as the wind  was against them on the home straight. A big thanks again to the coaches ,parents and officials who made the trip to Linwood to support our athletes .
